Linda Morais Full Circle Wrestling Journey
Takedown's Practice to podium Presents World Champion Linda Morais
From “Baby Lutte” to the World Stage: The Journey of Linda Morais
Every journey has a starting point—and for Linda Morais, it began in Grade 8 at École secondaire L’Essor in Tecumseh ON . What started as a simple visit during the school’s open house would unknowingly shape the course of her life. Her father, noticing a wrestling demonstration and seeing girls competing, immediately felt the sport was a perfect match for his strong, determined daughter. Encouraged to give it a try, Linda stepped onto the mat through the school’s “baby lutte” program—and never looked back.
Under the mentorship of Monsieur David Tremblay Sr, she quickly found more than just a sport. Wrestling became a passion, a discipline, and a community. The team environment fueled her growth, and it wasn’t long before her natural strength and competitive spirit set her apart. What began as curiosity soon evolved into a lifelong pursuit of excellence.
Over the next decade, Linda Morais rose through the ranks to become one of Canada’s elite wrestlers, proudly representing her country on the international stage. Her accomplishments reflect years of dedication, resilience, and world-class performance:

After years of training with the Montreal Wrestling Club and competing internationally, she is transitioning into mentorship, working closely to carry on M. Tremblay’s legacy.
